The Bead & Boutique Arts Show specializes in one-of-a-kind works of art, handmade beads, jewelry supplies, & vintage items. It takes up the entire hotel –discover and shop over 200 artisan boutiques, galleries and merchant displays, showcasing original artistic beads, handsewn clothing, fine gemstones, jewelry designs, ethnographic art, handwoven textiles, embellishments, antiquities and collectibles from all over the world.
The show is dedicated to offering boutique arts and quality merchandise to the public, as well as to art gallery owners, trades people, designers, and retailers. The carefully selected and balanced exhibitor list assures that attendees will not be disappointed and that the show has something for everyone –from the rarest ancient trade beads and Kashmir sapphires to less expensive items, such as brass filigree and Japanese seed beads.
The exhibitors featured at the Bead & Boutique Arts Show include artisans skilled in the old-world traditions of handmade beads and handwoven textiles, top name merchants and dealers, and up-and-coming designers, who were carefully selected for their original design and one-of-a-kind creations. Many handmade beads and jewelry designs, are unmatched, and will be offered here for the first time by the artists themselves.
The show brings together an extraordinary array of beads –handmade, artistic, vintage, and antique beads; crystal, stone, and intricate handcut gemstone beads; fabric, clay, shell, and resin beads; kiln-fired, torch, and shimmering lamp worked glass beads; gold, silver, and brass beads; and tribal, ethnographic, scarab, venetian, trade, and ancient amber beads.
Attendees will have an opportunity to buy from wholesale merchants who specialize in beading and jewelry supplies, with extensive inventories of silver, copper, brass, glass, and stone beads and findings.
Those looking for collectibles and antiquities will discover fine art jewelry, artifacts, rare ethnographic objects, nomadic costumes, handmade gold and silver pieces, champlevé enamel, buttons, hand carved gemstones, Gablonzer crystals, sacred textiles, and ceremonial objects.
In addition to exhibits, Bead & Boutique Arts Show offers workshops and classes taught by award-winning artisans, in such techniques as hand knotting, polymer clay, bead making, soldering, jewelry design, mixed media, glass pendants, resin jewelry, metal and wire work.
Other show highlights include hat makers, hand weavers, dress makers, shibori artists, fiber artists, embellishers, fashion designers, fabric artists, and textile merchants, presenting handsewn clothing and accessories, wearable art, hand-dyed silks, felted hats, and tribal textiles.
